Gerald Camarella

Graduate Student Researcher

Gerald (Jerry) is a graduate student from Springfield, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2024 with a BS in Chemistry. During his undergrad, he worked at the Naval Research Laboratory under Dr. Jeffrey Lundin performing materials chemistry research and at VCU under Dr. Maryanne Collinson performing electroanalytical research. Jerry’s research interests include polymer chemistry, materials science, and organic electrochemistry. Outside the lab, Jerry likes to rock climb, ski, and brew beer.
